At Planit we are proud to support a number of community and charity organisations. We also encourage our staff to get involved in the wider community and are proud to support them in their endeavours.

Variety Bash 
The annual Variety Bash is Australia's most successful charity motoring event. It is the focal point of fund raising efforts by many hundreds of supporters of Variety, with the money raised helping ill, special needs and disadvantaged children.

The Shepherd Centre

The Shepherd Centre is a charity which began in 1970 helping deaf and hearing-impaired children learn to listen and speak so they can reach their individual potential. Over 30% of children attending our early intervention program have additional disabilities to hearing loss.
They hope to raise as much money as possible to help deaf and hearing impaired children learn how to listen and how to speak, to go to mainstream school with their hearing peers to have options for a brighter future. 

Corporate Volunteering Project

This year Planit will send 20 volunteers to a local school in Sydney for a working bee through the Creating Corporate Community Partnerships C3P through The Centre for Volunteering.

The school programs support students with a moderate to severe intellectual disability, who may also have additional support needs related to autism, physical disabilities and/or sensory disabilities. The physical environment of the indoor and outdoor learning areas specifically address the many and varying special needs of the wide range of students enrolled.

Movember

Movember (the month formerly known as November) is an annual charity event held during November. 

Last year Planit sponsored a team for Movember to raise the awareness on men's health issues specifically prostate cancer and male depression or really just for an excuse to not shave for a month....
